About Dave Robison
Dave Robison has indulged in creative pursuits his entire life. His CV includes writing Curious George fan-fiction at the age of eight, improv theater at age ten, playing trumpet at age twelve, as well as a theater degree, creating magazine cover art, writing audio scripts, designing websites, creating board games, hosting mythological roundtables and generally savoring the sweet drought of expression in all its forms. His years of exploration give him a unique, informed, and eloquent perspective on the art of storytelling.
As I scrolled down the list.
*Sees Abigail Hilton’s name* That’s great. I love Cowry Catchers, and she is good at talking about writing,
*Sees Seth Harwood’s name* He sounds familiar, I bet if I looked him up I would quickly find out why.
*Sees John Mierau’s name* Oh cool. I liked Podcast Teardown. He would be great on the Roundtable.
*Sees Christof Laputka’s name* Wow, writer of the most cinematic podcast I have ever heard, The Leviathan Chronicles He would add an interesting perspective.
*Sees fifth photo* Gee that looks like Seanan
*Sees text next to fifth photo* OMG that is Seanan! You guys got Seanan McGuire on the show! New York Times Bestselling Author! Campbell Award Winner! Pegasus Award Winner! Nominated for 4 Hugos in one year, Seanan “Princess of the Kingdom of Poison and Flame” McGuire! I just hope that your server is able to handle the traffic when her episode posts. She has a large following.
I know, right? It’s like each month is an escalation of the awesome bad-assery (wait until you see NEXT month).
Your reaction is very much the same as ours, Pete, and every one of those episodes was a mind-blowing blast to record. We knew we were recording and we were taking notes anyway!
BTW It’s Peter, not Pete
My apologies, Peter. I seem to always go for the informal diminutive for some reason, which is a bold (and in this case, inaccurate) assumption. Noted… and thanks for letting me know.
