About Dave Robison

Dave Robison has indulged in creative pursuits his entire life. His CV includes writing Curious George fan-fiction at the age of eight, improv theater at age ten, playing trumpet at age twelve, as well as a theater degree, creating magazine cover art, writing audio scripts, designing websites, creating board games, hosting mythological roundtables and generally savoring the sweet drought of expression in all its forms. His years of exploration give him a unique, informed, and eloquent perspective on the art of storytelling.

Well Dave you have done it. Before I started listening The Roundtable Podcast, I listened to 3 Podcasts about writing: “I Should Be Writing” by Mur Lafferty, “SF Squeecast” which includes Seanan McGuire, and “Writing Excuses” which includes Dan Wells. You have now accomplished a trifecta with a guest from each of those shows. Well done.

I am quite excited about the rest of the guests this month, especially Rachel Swirsky. Unfortunately I’ll probably be delayed in listening to her episodes because they are being released while I’m at Worldcon.

WOOO! *fist pump* Thanks, Peter! It hadn’t occurred to me, but you’re right… we HAVE been graced by the hosts of some amazing podcasts. We also have had all the Dead robots on (except Elianna), both of the Full Cast Podcast hosts, AND the mighty Big and Rish from the Dunesteef Audio Mag. But we won’t accept the full trifecta until we get Howard, Mary and Brandon on the show.

Have a BLAST at WorldCon, sir! We’ll be rockin’ the DragonCon for the Parsec Award ceremony. Say “hello” to all the stellar luminaries there in Chicago for us. :)
