Mur Lafferty – author of The “Shambling Guide” series, “Six Wakes”, AND the founder/host of the “I Should Be Writing” podcast – returns to the Brainstorm Arena to workshop a tale of transdimensional superheroes.

Conventionally, “taking care of myself” entails “taking it easy”, “getting lots of rest”, “eating well”, and other sensible courses of action. And I’m doing all those things… really! But that kind of convalescent lifestyle includes a lot of “quiet time”, long tranquil hours where your brain is free to drift and ponder whatever errant thoughts may pique its interest.

You see the hazard that represents, right? Leaving me alone with my thoughts is like hiring an arsonist to watch over propane plant; something’s gonna blow.

Alasdair Stuart – media connoisseur, game designer, and mastermind of the Escape Artists podcasts – has co-hosted and guest hosted on the APN many times. The reason, of course, is that he IS the “Man of Words” and a true aficionado of the storyteller’s craft, so it’s always a delight to have him wax rhapsodic on the nigh-infinite range of topics in which he is conversant.
